Another Vietnam Veteran Leaving His Mark On Our Lives

Anyone who knows me, knows of the soft spot in my heart for our Vietnam Veterans. Since Lou left for Iraq, and in the 11 years since he’s been gone, Vietnam Veterans have played a pivotal part in our lives and the lives of so many other families like ours. Some have come in and out of our lives, touching us for a moment and leaving their light in their stead. Others have become family, mentoring my boys and lifting me up when I need it most – and keeping me in line when I also need that. I don’t know this man personally but through his story, and through those we do know, I know the spirit and grace with which he has faced life. And he has left his mark on mine. Read his story here.
