“I’m Supposed To Be Dead” - Trump

Questions linger following an assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally. How did the shooter manage to get so close?

Here’s a breakdown of what we know so far….

The Rally: The event took place in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. Trump was just five minutes into his speech when shots rang out.

The Attack: Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, accessed a rooftop 130 yards away and opened fire, hitting Trump once in the ear. One supporter was killed, and two others were wounded but survived. Trump's quick turn to look at a screen likely saved his life.

Secret Service Response: Within seconds, Secret Service agents rushed Trump to the ground and covered him. A sniper then killed the shooter.

Trump's Defiance: Despite efforts to rush him off stage, Trump raised his fist and shouted, "FIGHT!" In a Truth Social post, he thanked everyone for their prayers and acknowledged the other victims.

Honoring the Victim: The man who was killed at Trump's Pennsylvania rally has been identified as former fire chief for Buffalo Township, Corey Comperatore.

Rest in peace.

Comperatore's last act on this planet was shielding his daughter from the bullets.

"The PA Trump Rally claimed the life of my brother, Corey Comperatore. The hatred for one man took the life of the one man we loved the most."

 "He was a hero that shielded his daughters. His wife and girls just lived through the unthinkable and unimaginable," his brother said on FB.

"My baby brother just turned 50 and had so much life left to experience. Hatred has no limits and love has no bounds. Pray for my sister-in-law, nieces, my mother, sister, me and his nieces and nephews as this feels like a terrible nightmare but we know it is our painful reality."

Two other victims: David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, are in stable condition.

Shooter's Profile: Crooks was a "loner" who graduated from a high school 40 miles away. Despite being a registered Republican, his only political donation was to a left-wing cause. He tried out for the rifle team in high school but was rejected.

Security Lapses: The Secret Service is under scrutiny for allowing Crooks to get so close. Video shows supporters alerting security before the shooting. A local police officer retreated when the shooter pointed his gun.

Diversity Concerns: Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle's goal of a 30% female workforce has raised concerns about agent size. Some argue a female agent might not have been tall enough to shield Trump.

Unclear Motives: The shooter's motive remains unknown. The FBI is investigating his cell phone but are having trouble unlocking it (weird)

Future Actions: President Joe Biden and House Speaker Mike Johnson have promised investigations into the Secret Service.

Leadership from both the Democrat Party and Republican Party are asking for Americans and politicians alike to tone down the rhetoric.

Broader Implications: Since 2015, media and Democrats have portrayed Trump as Hitler, a threat to Democracy, and worse…potentially inciting violence and inspiring this shooter to take action. It’s time for this inflammatory and dangerous rhetoric to stop!

Judge Drops Classified Documents Case Against Trump

While en route to Milwaukee for the RNC, Trump gave interviews to the New York Post and the Washington Examiner. 

The 30-minute interview is said to have lasted 30 minutes, with the focus being on the shooting and the campaign.

The New York Post article by Michael Goodwin stated that Trump suggested that there would be more civility between the candidates moving Forward.

He also hinted that Biden was going to order the DOJ to drop its two remaining prosecutions against him. (So Biden Was Prosecuting His Opponent?)

Now, Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed the classified documents case against Donald Trump, bringing a significant turn in the legal proceedings.

Cannon stated that the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith was unconstitutional, challenging the legal foundation of the investigation.

"In the end, it appears that the Executive's increasing reliance on appointing 'regulatory' special counsels in recent times has developed into an ad hoc practice with minimal judicial oversight," Cannon wrote.

She emphasized the importance of maintaining constitutional boundaries and the need for stricter judicial scrutiny in such appointments.
