Jack Black's Bandmate Says: 'Don't Miss Trump Next Time'

It’s one thing for a person to throw their support and platform behind the candidate of their choice, and another for them to use their platform to encourage an assassination of the candidate they despise.

Until recently, Jack Black may have disappointed millions of fans with his proud support of Biden but retained them as fans because they still appreciate his work.

That, I suspect, is no longer the case.

Jack Black don't miss trump next time

Just one day after two people were critically injured, one person was killed, and President Trump somehow survived an assassination attempt, a band member in Tenacious D shouted, "Don't miss Trump next time!” during a live performance. [Watch]

It was Gass’s birthday, and Black invited him to make a wish after singing Happy Birthday to him.

The performance was in Sydney, Australia. Audience members can be heard responding with mixed emotions, some guffawing and others seeming surprised.

The response from others was not so mixed.

A local lawmaker in Australia called for Black and his bandmate Kyle Glass, who is said to have been the one who yelled the comment, deported.

“To advocate and or wish for the assassination of a president is egregious, disgusting, filthy, evil, and not acceptable in any way, shape, or form,” Ralph Babet, a United Australia party senator, said in a statement.

“I call on the Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese to join me in denouncing Tenacious D, J Black, and band member Kyle Gass, and I call on the Immigration Minister Andrew Giles to revoke their visas and deport them immediately,” the statement added.

A concert they had scheduled after that was canceled, although no reason was given. [Read More]

US Army Briefing Labels Pro-Life Groups As “Terrorists”

U.S. Army personnel at Ft. Liberty in North Carolina were given a training seminar that controversially labeled prominent anti-abortion groups as “terrorist groups,” based on information leaked from within the base.

Images of the seminar, confirmed by Ft. Liberty Garrison Public Affairs Office for the Washington Examiner, showed a presentation to soldiers manning access control points that identified the National Right to Life Committee and Operation Rescue as terrorist groups.

The slide, photographed by an anonymous attendee and shared on social media, described common anti-abortion activist tactics such as “demonstrations and protests,” “truth display,” “picketing,” and “sidewalk counseling” as potentially dangerous.

The presentation's origins remain unclear, but it bore the insignias of the Directorate of Emergency Services at Ft. Liberty and the XVII Airborne Corps. It also featured a “Choose Life” license plate image, sold in 34 states according to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute.

A Ft. Liberty spokesperson stated the slides “were not vetted by the appropriate approval authorities and do not reflect the views of the XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Liberty, the U.S. Army, or the Department of Defense.”

They added that a local garrison employee created the slides and would no longer be used, with future training materials to be reviewed for compliance with DoD anti-terrorism guidance. [Read More]
