Good morning Patriots. We are making a change here. This newsletter will continue appearing in your inbox; it will just be a little different moving forward.

Dave and I want to thank you for sharing your time with us. We are especially grateful to everyone who came to our Great American Summit events, downloaded our podcast, and let us know about how you’ve been impacted by all we have done.

You are why we stayed with this over the years.

Hearing from you - your stories of new friendships you made at our events or in our community, the business opportunities you discovered through us, the new wave of hope in challenging times, and of course, the embodiment of faith and patriotism we have all needed to hold on to… it has all meant as much to us as it has to you.

Dave and I have poured ourselves into the great American Syndicate. We started with American Snippets, evolved into live events, and launched our GAS community - all from our own home, on our own dime, on our own time, with no staff and nothing other than our gut feeling that it was important work. 

We built relationships and gratefully accepted help where it was offered. We learned about ourselves and others. We have been blown away by people stepping up to support us and sometimes knocked to our knees by people who broke our trust.

I cannot count the number of times we asked ourselves why we were putting ourselves through all of the struggle, expense, time away from our own business and families, and the stress, only to be immediately reminded of how blessed we have been to do so.

Now, however, it is time for us to move into our own next chapters.

Some will say we “failed.” We did not achieve the sponsorship or financial returns that will allow us to monetize our work, without paying for it all directly ourselves.

I suppose if that is your sole definition of failure- you would be right.

We, on the other hand, consider this moment a great success.

As much courage as it takes to do what we have done- and believe me, few people actually follow through the way we have- it takes just as much courage to acknowledge it is time to enter a new season.

It is time for us to focus on… us. 

Our own businesses, our own health, our own relationships - we have neglected all of these for years, to keep the lights on in our community, podcast, and live events.

We are still here- we are still standing up for our country. We are still available for anything you might have on your mind to talk about, or ideas you want to pitch.

I’m still here to help you write your books. Dave is still here for real estate investing. We are both here to continue building our networks and exploring new opportunities, and we might even bring the Great American Summit back next year- in New York, with a stronger foundation. 

So what is different now?

Well, for starters, this newsletter will now be a direct message from me to you, rather than focusing on current political and national events.

It will be me sharing insight on resilience, adversity, patriotism, and yes, I will still be spotlighting current events- only this time it will be through my lens.

I will invite people I respect to contribute their own insight and stories too. This includes you. I will invite you to share your work, your insight, and what matters to you. 

So if you have been opening us up and reading us because you want the news, and only the news - I understand if you want to unsubscribe below!

But I hope you don’t. 

I look forward to moving forward with you, and seeing where this leads us all.

I have a feeling it is going to be fun!

Dave and I are taking this next week off- spending time with family and each other.
