World-Renowned Hypnotist Marshall Sylver Opens Up On Current Events, Patriotism, and Emerging From Crisis

SNIPPET #141

Marshall Sylver oozes confidence and wealth. He fires off whatever he has to say at rapid-fire pace and if he has an opinion on something he does not leave you guessing.

It is almost impossible to believe he has ever been anything but on top of his life and in charge of every moment. The world-famous hypnotist lives in one mansion and vacations in another. Private helicopters, packed audiences, and an elite network are part of his everyday life. Round it out with a beautiful wife and three children he adores, and it’s clear Marshall’s life is perfectly, precisely designed.

It’s easy to assume he must have had things handed to him. How else could anyone achieve such massive success? He must never have truly struggled and must have no idea what it’s like for people on the other side of the tracks, right?

The reality, though, is that Marshall Sylver is the personification of potential.

He built every drop of his success himself and he crawled out of poverty to do so.

Marshall and his 10 siblings know all about hard times.  His mother raised them pretty much on her own. The men kind of came and went, says Marshall. It was just how it was.

His family was homeless twice, and at one point he lived in a chicken coop. Literally. “So I know what it’s like to fight back from utter poverty – no running water, no electricity or phone, very little food and sometimes no food at all,” says Marshall.

But Marshall also remembers being largely unaware of how bad things were. To him it was normal. So when his mother sat her 10 children down for dinner one night, and Marshall saw her fighting back tears, he didn’t understand why.

His mom had set a delicious apple cobbler down for them. All young Marshall knew was that he was going to get to have dessert for dinner! He didn’t grasp the reality that this was all the food his mother had been able to provide that day, or that one apple cobbler was not going to feed 10 children, let alone his mom. His mom, in fact, would probably not eat at all.

But Marshall didn’t worry about any of that as his mom made them all pause to pray before they ate. He vividly remembers his mother’s words that night – how she thanked God for their blessings and how she trusted he would provide for them. He remembers her assurances that they would use their struggles to become stronger as a family, and he remembers how she sat back and watched her hungry children devour that cobbler.

There was not enough for everyone. His mother didn’t eat a bite. And yet, remembers Marshall, rather than break down, his mother whispered one more prayer.

A knock on their door interrupted the moment. It was unusual for anyone to visit.

A neighbor popped his head in to offer his mother bags of groceries. Behind that neighbor was another, and another, with twenty bags of groceries.

His mother, he says, taught him how to turn fear into faith.

Everything that has happened to me in my life has been a part of the process of me becoming who I am now, Marshall wrote in his book, Passion, Profit, and Power.

In his book, Marshall Sylver uses pieces of his incredible life story to teach powerful lessons on programming the subconscious mind.

Expansion thinking is one of those lessons. One day, wrote Marshall, he found himself scraping through his couch for change to buy a box of macaroni and cheese – not the milk or butter to make it properly, but just the pasta and cheese mix. Frustrated, he sat down to deal with his emotions. “Enough!” he told himself. He was done being this poor, done not being able to eat. If other people can get the things they want, he wondered, why couldn’t he. “I realized,” he wrote in his book, “my life had come to a place where my dreams had died.”

He was not ready to give up on those dreams, so he sat down and began envisioning every detail of the perfect day in his future. He spared no bit of imagination, from a gourmet chef preparing breakfast, a home aviary exploding with song from exotic birds, an office with enormous salt water fish tanks on display, to a private helicopter whisking him and his beautiful woman off to a romantic dinner before he returned to perform for a packed crowd.

This exercise works, says Marshall. The day he first wrote his vision down, he was on the brink of being evicted from a building he managed. He had barely any food and was even less stocked in the friends department. Other than people he owed money to, he was virtually unnoticed in the world.

Eight years after the day he first practiced expansion thinking, most of what he’d envisioned for himself had become reality. Today Marshall Sylver is a world renowned hypnotist, and a leading expert on subconscious reprogramming and irresistible influence. Wealthy clients pay thousands of dollars a month for personal coaching and mentorship and Fortune 500 Companies can’t get enough of him. He’s spoken on stages with more than one future or sitting president and his shows pack the house.

The Certainty Theatre is one of  Marshall’s new projects. Scheduled to have opened recently, the Certainty Theatre is poised to explode with the imagination and showmanship of Marshall the moment Coronavirus restrictions are lifted. He worked hard to make that happen.

Marshall Sylver was just 10 years old when he got his first job.

He weeded fields for a dollar an hour, forty hours a week, to contribute to his family. He had his own paper route too. He was 14 when his mom moved him and his 3 younger siblings from Michigan to San Diego. Her social worker income was barely enough to make ends meet, so Marshall immediately jumped into action.

A cold call to the local magic shop introduced him to the young entrepreneur who became Marshall’s first true mentor. Chuck Martines was just 23 years old when he hired young Marshall. Five years later, Chuck had made 60 million dollars by launching Halloween stores, and he taught Marshall the ins and outs along the way.

Marshall had his first experience with hypnotism at 16 years old, when he was hypnotized. That was a life changing moment for him, but his path to success was not going to be smooth.

Marshal spent years wrapped up in drug addiction and recklessly bouncing around. By the time he was 23 – the same age Chuck had been when he realized his own path to success- Marshall had been to the lowest points in his life and was ready for a change.

He spent his last money on a session and training with a hypnotist, emerging with the knowledge that he’d found his calling; He’d use hypnotism to help people learn the lessons he’d learned so painfully.

HIs own experiences and the knowledge he’d gained merged in his mind. Marshall applied it all to his first personal development course and made $100 million in the first year of sales.

He’s never looked back.

Marshall may be light years away from the child and the young man who barely had enough food to survive on, but that doesn’t diminish his frustration about his business being on lockdown. He knows he’s blessed now, and grateful that he and his family are more than comfortable in a time that so many others are being thrown into the arena he fought so hard to emerge from.

“I’m in the live events business, and overnight I’m told I can’t do my business. So I immediately sat down and said, okay, what ways can you protect yourself should anything similar to this ever come up again?”

He’s come up with his own ways to pivot his own business, and has his own vision of how to bring the country back to life. He is unafraid to speak those ideas to anyone:

“I think everything is going to be strong coming out of the gate,” he says – and he knows how to make that happen.

“If I were a businessman president, I would definitely be looking for a way to end the Federal Reserve.”

The Fed, says Marshall,  is printing money to give to banks, then demanding the federal government repay that money.

“By eliminating the federal reserve, we eliminate the debt.”

How can President Trump eliminate the Federal Reserve, you ask?

“Let the Fed pour money into the economy, make it flush again, and refuse to pay it back.” Tell the Fed the money “was never yours to give to us, so we’re ending you.”

Marshall unabashedly calls the IRS a “criminal organization” and encourages its demise as well. Suspending payroll and income tax for 2020, establishing term limits, and downsizing government are also in his playbook to rebuild and restore America.

Marshall may be the master of hypnosis and personal persuasion, but he’s under no illusion any of those moves are easy sells. “It’s a chess game, and I know what a chess player Trump is,” he says.

Take away the glamor and the showmanship, and Marshall Sylver is at heart an everyday American who loves his country and is ready to lead others toward building their own version of the American Dream

“I’m not a Republican or a Democrat,” he says. “I’m a patriot.”

Marshall knows what is possible in this country. He understands the perception of hopelessness and the power of the properly trained  subconscious mind to crush adversity. He can’t wait to get back to work so he can teach what he’s learned.
